STOP!

Hammer Time!

hahaha.

Moving on… NYC spring break

My trips usually start with this type of photo

I arrive in LGA in this US airways 30-passenger airplane, pretty comfortable since the seat next to me was empty. Love that

This is the bar inside the airport, the day after st. paddy’s

My first shot in the cab on my way to the apartment. Toronto cabs should learn from nyc’s.

Yesterday a douche driver here would not take my credit card. Pfff, not in nyc.

First thing in the morning, I went to see my friends from Venezuela, Ale y Nani

This is the view form their room

‘twas rainy that day

Ale a.k.a. Alele, Pfirsich, Aleche, Potamkin, etc.

I love her.

some old bald-ish man

Alana walking down times square

Michael Jackson was there!

Swanky Plaza after 3 year renovation

Alana a.k.a. Nani, Jasmin, etc

they love me back

Wall Street

Me & Nani

Dean & Deluca has the best cheesecake

Probably Green eggs and ham

Hahahah, she’s kinda small

This is the only shot of us three, Self timer

The Way I see it #291: “In a world where celebrity equals talent, and where make-believe is called reality, it is more important to have real love, truth and stability in your life”

-Bernie Brillstein

Alana and I were looking at the photos in the display when ale yelled: wait! Don’t move... give me the camera NOW.

Gotta love when those WAIT-don’t-move moments happen.

It was very windy then

Hey psst… you two, turn around

Alana’s moment with my XT

OHH shiny.

MoMA love

Jasmin!

Looking good Nani

Mommy, is that art?

Bored on the escalators

Top of the Rock

OHH glare + reflection

Washington square was under renovation :(

Two spring lovebirds

Ale behind the lens again

These ads were every-fucking-where. I found them funny.

They are now starting to show up in toronto.

Then a stop at Grand Central

And we were off to buy Krispy Kreme and eat in Central Park

Gordos Tramposos

Nani was cold so I gave her my coat

Look where the catapulted squirrel ended up

Yeah, I know what you mean about your taking the photo for yourself, instead of for them. I'm of the same mind when I'm out shooting street stuff, but every so often I'll check the files, and if there is a shot that stands out, I'll go over and tell the person and see if they'd like one, too. I've only done it a handful of times, and only once did they take me up on it. But, I was just wondering how other folks handle such things. You're right -- they probably wouldn't have wanted you to interrupt them at that time! Good call!! Chalk it up to my being curious, I guess.

Ivan, your shots make me wanna go out and take more pictures. Even the ones not of Alana! Ha! This is a good thing... to have motivators! And, it reminds me I need to do more with my page here, too!

@shane: Lol thanks. I'll let her know ;)
about offering a photo. hmm depends. to that couple at that moment, probably no. I didnt really want to interrupt them hehe if you know what I mean.
Besides, I'm taking the photo for myself, not for commercial purposes, it's the way I see the world and capture my surroundings. If I were to ask someone for a portrait, like I did a year ago in Soho district, I would most definitely offer them a copy.

I haven't been down to wall street in a longlong time, but just found out the other day that there's a really cute historical area by it so I can't wait to go hopefully this weekend.

Wow, man... awesome shots here, as usual! The street shots are killer, from the rain-walking to the lovebirds! I always wonder about how other people handle things like that -- would you ever consider approaching them and offering them the picture?

Looks like you had a blast, and the shots of you and your pals are entertaining, too. I'm already a fan of Alana's... I would shoot tons of film with her and that smile, if only she wasn't so far away. Well, that... and a total stranger! Ha! =)
